How do I update my personal contact information in HR records?
To update your personal contact information (like your email, address, and phone number), log into your ADP account and update it in your profile.
When is payday?
Employees are typically paid on Thursday for work performed Monday through Sunday of the previous week. Some holidays may alter this schedule slightly.
What should I do if I need to change my work shift or schedule?
You can make a formal request by completing a Modified Schedule Request form. This form is available through your Manager.
How do I enroll in medical insurance?
You enroll into the insurance plan through your ADP portal.
What is considered a qualifying life event for medical insurance?
A qualifying life event (QLE) is a major life change that allows you to enroll in or make changes to your health insurance outside of open enrollment. Common QLEs include marriage, divorce, birth or adoption of a child, loss of other health coverage, moving to a new area with different plan options, and a dependent turning age 26.
How soons do I need to notify HR after a qualifying event?
You must notify HR and submit documentation within 30 days of the event. If you miss this deadline, you may have to wait until the next open enrollment to make changes.
When is open enrollment for medical insurance?
Open enrollment starts at the beginning of May and becomes effective June 1.
Why didn't I receive my holiday pay?
To be eligible for holiday pay, an employee must first complete the probationary period of ninety (90) days of continuous employment. An employee must work the entire shift of their regularly scheduled workdays before and after a holiday to be eligible for holiday pay. If paid vacation time is used before or after the holiday, the employee would need to work the entire shift of the scheduled workday immediately before/after the vacation time.
I referred a friend to Master Spas and they got hired. When do I get my referral bonus?
The person that you referred should list you as a referral on their job application. If/when the candidate has been hired, they must be employed for 90 days before the referral bonus is paid out.
If I do not use all of my sick pay, does it get paid out?
Unused sick pay is not bought out or rolled over.
When do employees lose holiday pay?
Holiday pay is only provided if you work your scheduled shifts before and after the holiday, or if you use approved vacation time. Please note that if you use any of the following types of time off on the day before or after a holiday, you will not receive holiday pay:

What should I do if I’m injured at work?
All accidents, injuries and on-the-job illnesses that occur while at work must be reported immediately (same day). Master Spas will provide the proper forms for reporting to be completed by the employee.
I need an accomodation. What should I do?
Employees needing accommodations should notify their supervisor or Human Resources. A medical assessment may be required to determine the necessity, reasonableness, and effectiveness of an accommodation.
Do I get a discount on a hot tub?
Employees that have been with Master Spas for a minimum of one (1) year are eligible for our Employee Discount Program on the purchase of a hot tub, cold tub, swim spa or sauna.
How can I apply for an internal job opening?
All open positions are posted on www.masterspasjobs.com. Anyone interested in pursuing other opportunities should check there and follow up with their supervisor, manager or Human Resources.
Does Master Spas help with educational assistance?
Master Spas encourages our employees to continue to grow and develop. With prior approval from Management and Human Resources, Master Spas will reimburse a portion of continuing education costs to eligible employees for courses completed that are advantageous to both Master Spas and the employee.
I heard that Master Spas offers scholarships. Is that correct?
Yes! Master Spas proudly supports education through our College or Trade School Scholarship Program. The goal of this program is to help motivated and successful students who may not have the financial resources needed to pursue higher education.
